The Bizarre Honour chronicles the contentious relationship between this island and its human inhabitants, from Singapore’s time as a colony to city-state.
In a two-storey house nestled in Chip Bee Gardens, an immersive encounter unfolded in a maze-like museum that blurred the line between art and artefact, wonder and unknowing.
There are no guides, no labels, no explanations. All audiences had was a dossier comprising memos, photographs and other classified information pertaining to the exhibits and experiments.
