This forest of fantastic figures is inspired by the artist’s relationships with her loved ones. During her time in New York City, a concrete jungle vastly different to her hometown of Jeju, the artist felt lonely in an unfamiliar environment. A fairy-tale world of her own making, it explores relationships, love and loneliness, acting as a source of comfort for the artist.
