“I collect art that resonates.”
— Priya
On, 29 November 2025, we concluded House of Collectors for the year with Priya and Tashi, who showed us how art can find its place in our homes and everyday lives.
Priya’s love for collecting first started in 2000, where she found joy in acquiring artworks she felt a genuine connection with. Art has since became her source of excitement and comfort through life’s ups and downs — a sentiment reflected throughout her home, where every wall and corner is adorned with works, from miniature sculptures to large statement pieces.
Having Priya as a host for House of Collectors was also incredibly meaningful for us. Not only has she supported us for many years, but she also holds a special place in OH!’s history as the first homeowner who opened her doors for our first artwalk at Niven Road back in 2009. Though she has since moved, she warmly welcomed us into her home once more, this time to view her personal collection of Indian and Southeast Asian works.
Thank you, Priya and Tashi, for opening your home yet again and allowing us to reconnect with the very roots of how OH! began. It is through the generosity and willingness of people like you that enable us to do what we do.
Although this was the final session of the year, this Friends of OH! exclusive programme will return next year with a new set of collectors. As always, it will invite direct, intimate encounters between artists, collectors, patrons, volunteers, audiences, and the artworks themselves.
