“Collecting was never just about buying art.”
— Linda Neo, Former Chairperson (2022–2024) & Board Member of OH! (2019–2024)

On Saturday, 26 July 2025, we launched our first House of Collectors with Linda Neo and Albert Lim, where we were treated to a glimpse of their rich collection of local and Southeast Asian artworks.
For them, collecting has always meant more than just acquiring artworks. It’s about giving artists and their stories a platform, including those that may not fit within institutional walls. And that’s exactly what they’ve done with Primz Gallery.
By showcasing works that challenge dominant narratives, they’ve created a space where a deeper, more nuanced understanding of Singapore and beyond can take place. Like us, they recognise the importance of creating avenues to engage with alternative stories — and it’s also why they’ve supported OH!’s work for many years.
We’re incredibly proud to have kicked off House of Collectors with Linda and Albert. This new programme does more than viewing art in homes; it invites direct, intimate encounters between artists, collectors, patrons, volunteers, audiences, and the art itself.
Thank you, Linda and Albert, for generously opening up Primz Gallery, and for hosting a space where such critical engagement can thrive. It’s through spaces and opportunities like these that we cultivate a more resilient and connected arts ecosystem.
