INTERN
OH! Open House is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Community & Arts Management Intern. In this role, you will work closely with the Community Manager to build and nurture relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including residents, volunteers, patrons, and partners. You will also have the opportunity to develop and execute engaging programmes for these groups, contributing to the vibrant cultural landscape we are creating.

Role Overview:
We are looking for someone who can commit full-time for 6 months. You will start as an intern and have the opportunity to progress to a trainee position, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Programme Support: Assist the Community Manager in planning and executing a cohesive series of engagement and education programmes for volunteers.
- Coordination: Liaise with team members and necessary stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of programmes.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including volunteers, teachers, patrons, and partners.
- Administrative Duties: Support general and programme-related administrative and logistics tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Organised: Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- People Skills: Ability to connect and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in Arts Programming: Experience with arts programming or events is a plus.
- Engagement Programming: Experience organizing and facilitating educational or community engagement programmes is a plus.
Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
